Self Harm and Suicidal Ideation

The topics of self-harm and suicidal ideation appear frequently, despite CLS being an emotional support line and not a distress or crisis line. This workshop will help volunteers recognize the risk of suicide, learn how to seek support when a caller presents with self harm or suicidal ideations, and how to provide next steps on how to guide the conversation with someone who is in self-harm/suicidal distress.
