I recently completed the training at Certified Listeners, and it was an excellent experience. The program was comprehensive, covering essential skills needed to provide emotional support effectively. The training offered helpful insights and practical examples. I feel well-prepared and confident to engage with individuals in need of support, thanks to the structured and informative training. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience.

I believe the training provided practical steps, expectations, and possible scenarios to prepare a person to be a certified listener. It was also helpful to have a module on common mental health disorders so people are familiar and a ware of the possible things they may encounter in a chat. Finally, I believe it was beneficial to have the live training with a chat supervisor, but I think the training could have more thorough to really gage how well a person is at handling tough topics of conversation.

The training put in place to become a Certified Listener has been amazing. Everything was organized and informative. The training was easy to navigate and has allowed me to feel confident moving forward into acting as a Certified Listener. Great experience and excited to put the training to use.

I prefer a face-to-face training session. But this would not be possible currently. So given the limitations, it was a very engaging session. I feel pretty clear about the process.

The training is quite comprehensive and easy to follow along with. I have appreciated many of the skills that have been taught, especially how to read emotion in text messages! The platform does have several typos, but otherwise it is very user friendly.
