The training program had several technical issues, particularly with videos 18.b and 18.c, which were not functioning. There was also a technical difficulty uploading the required documents where once I submitted my papers, the platform would not let me proceed to the next step. Luckily, I was able to reach out to the training department who fixed it for me. The content is outdated and does not reflect the current outlook of the Tawk.to platform. I would advise updating the materials and ensuring all videos are operational for a more effective learning experience.

This training course was a great rundown of everything you may experience as a volunteer on the CLS platform. I was able to learn a lot from the different modules and quizzes and am happy to have added this new knowledge to my skillset. With that being said, I think this course could be improved by making it more comprehensive, detailed, and engaging. I would have appreciated more details and background info on certain topics, as well as opportunities to engage with the material and test my application of what I’ve learned because I feel that this would have helped solidify my knowledge of what I’ve learned. Additionally, I found the training for the tawk.to platform a bit confusing from the perspective of someone who had little exposure to this platform prior to the training. I feel like a more in-depth explanation of how to navigate it would have been super helpful and made me feel even more confident before going for my practical training appointment. Other than the points already mentioned though, I really enjoyed taking this training and I’m glad I had the opportunity to acquire this knowledge and become part of this community at CLS.
