I found most of the videos to be informative. The ones that were not were the videos that explained how the tawk.to platform worked. I found it to be odd that we were being trained on something we did not have access to. Also, the videos 18a, b, and c, I found to be somewhat unhelpful because in the video, the program used is not up to date with the current one, so the buttons were not all in the same place. And sometimes the instructor would state that we need to be on a certain page, like the training test one, yet, it was not explained how to get there. Did I miss something or was that truly the case?

Very interesting content! I learned a lot about being an active listener and how to help others while maintaining my own mental health. To improve the training course, I would edit the sections where it asks for a police record check. The terminology used was inconsistent, and even though in the interview before the training they ask for a vulnerable sector check, the website should be consistent with that terminology. Instead, the website often refers to it as a police record check, which should be clarified as the “vulnerable sector” check and not “criminal record” check. This will limit confusion and prevent people paying for the incorrect form.

I thought the training was great, except that some of the videos for the task app on my laptop were not the same as where things were on my laptop screen. It took me a long time as well to read the videos that had words with no sound because I am dyslexic and my reading software can not read videos that do not offer subtitles.
