The modules were good but videos that were split into one-minute lessons could be compiled into bigger videos. This allows the website to run more smoothly.

My experience with the Certified Listener Society, for which I had to undergo training, has been fantastic; it teaches us volunteers how to help our clients, respect confidentiality, and offer emotional support to those in need of care. It is a wonderful place to be.

I found the training to be all encompassing and helpful when it came to showing how to navigate tawk. I did however find a couple spelling mistakes with in the instructions at times, I cannot recall exactly where they are now but they were minor typos. Thank you for putting this training together.

Change has always been pursued throughout history. In order to attain such an imminent goal at the societal level, change itself must start at the micro level. It is an ongoing process that requires implication in the community and addressing issues that we see arising daily. From language, behaviour, and mindfulness to advocacy, empathy, and ethical correctness. With mental health being such an important aspect of one’s well-being state, it is paramount to raise awareness within the community about how we can better support and acknowledge mental health issues without becoming judgmental and biased. After completing the CLS training, I would like to state how complex and thorough it has been. Such attention given to details with consideration to one’s wellbeing has made the training itself a positive experience during which the trainees can enrich their knowledge and have a better understanding of how to support vulnerable populations in crisis.
