The training experience went relatively well, with everything taught being easy to understand and quick to go through. There were a few minor issues I noticed, such as spelling mistakes and improperly sized videos, but learning the material was still simple. It might be a bit too simple, as the practical training was a very quick and straightforward endeavour, so I’m not entirely sure how well I’ll be able to use the information I’ve learned by just exiting this course. The main issue I had was getting the forms I needed to fill out emailed to me, as there were issues in receiving them that delayed me finishing this course for some time, as I had to wait for a response from the help email. Hopefully, I won’t run into further issues with using the site later on. Overall, it accomplished its job of creating a baseline to follow that a majority of people should be able to complete without much issue, though it could use some technical polish and more practical demonstrations to better test the trainee’s learned knowledge.

I think this was a very informative and engaging experience which can also apply to other situations and careers in real life because being able to listen and communicate well is a very important skill.

I very much enjoyed my experience with the training module for CLS. It was straightforward, organized, and informative. I think it is more than sufficient for a new volunteer to learn how to become a Certified Listener. If I do have any criticisms, it would be that some of the video formats are a little outdated, perhaps slightly unmotivated at times, and occasionally funk in terms of functionalist. However, if those small issues are adjusted, the platform would be close to perfect! Thank you for the wonderful training! I look forward to helping people through this medium!

It was a real life experience acquired taking this course. The lessons content were both educational and practically inspiring. Not only did I learn what it takes to be supportive for those in an emotional situation, the lessons were a value added to my life vision. I do recommend the certified listeners course to whatsoever.
