I would like to thank everyone who made this program and service possible, it is not only helpful to those people that is in need to have someone to talk to but also help people like me gain more knowledge through wonderful training program. The program that was provided is easy to understand and easy to use. For the improvement I think segments that has 30 minutes onwards would be better if chunk down since we might have volunteers that prefer to listen for each segments in a shorter period of time. All in all I find this experience very awesome and I look forward to learn and gain more knowledge through the experiences that I would encounter here along the way. Again, thank you very much!

I loved this training! I think this was very informative and necessary to have before helping someone psychologically. There was one training with myths about mental health that I think it should be updated (because there is wrong information in it). I also want to ask if there a way to have my last name’s first letter with the upper case on my certificate?

Change has always been pursued throughout history. In order to attain such an imminent goal at the societal level, change itself must start at the micro level. It is an ongoing process that requires implication in the community and addressing issues that we see arising daily. From language, behaviour, and mindfulness to advocacy, empathy, and ethical correctness. With mental health being such an important aspect of one’s well-being state, it is paramount to raise awareness within the community about how we can better support and acknowledge mental health issues without becoming judgmental and biased. After completing the CLS training, I would like to state how complex and thorough it has been. Such attention given to details with consideration to one’s wellbeing has made the training itself a positive experience during which the trainees can enrich their knowledge and have a better understanding of how to support vulnerable populations in crisis.
