I thought this training was very informative and useful. I feel more confident fulfilling this volunteer role as I now understand the expectations. I enjoyed the videos and the mental health quizzes as they allowed for interaction and this helped me understand the concepts better. The layout of the training sections made it very easy to follow.

I look forward to volunteering and building a relationship with certified listeners. I am a current social work student looking to broaden my knowledge and experience. I hope to do more with certified listeners and would love to do my placement with them. Strongly recommend!

It is good material. Some of the videos are extremely interesting. What caught my attention was a careful way that they brought the content and at the same time in a condensed format. The only issue, for me, that perhaps could be reevaluated is the quiz, sometimes it's just tricky, and doesn't achieve the matter of knowledge.

I’d say the training process is helpful, comprehensive and gets the job done. Some issues that are worth nothing are there are some typos, which is not the type that convolutes the meaning so not the biggest deal. Another one is the material isn’t very user-friendly or accessible. One example is not being able to access the links in the slides because it’s a video. Listing them below the videos additionally would solve that problem. Another issue is the text heavy slides with where the instructor is also speaking, which makes it hard to take in all of the material for however long it stays on the screen since we also can’t copy the text from the video.

The content was quite thorough and helpful! However, there were many spelling and grammar mistakes that made comprehension confusing at times.

It was a great experience going through the onboarding, application and training process with CLS. The steps were clearly outlined and the training sessions clearly marked what you needed to do after each session.
